Command line programs, are programs started from the Windows command line. You get there by clicking on the Start Button, choosing Run, and the entering "CMD" and hitting return. Actually only the first one needs to be started this way, the other three will open their own command Window, but this can still seem intimidating though it really isn't, it's just a little unfriendly looking. CDGONE - "The popular CDGONE patch. CD drives may vanish in Windows Explorer, Device Manager, etc. if a third-party CD-burning package has been uninstalled and Registry references for some code modules aren't removed successfully. This patch and a reboot usually will restore the missing drives. Any third party package still required will then have to be re-installed. For more information on this and other possible causes, see the "Problems" section of Alex Nichol's Burning CDs in Windows XP article." WPF XBAP Permission Repair Tool - "Repairs Registry Permissions needed to execute WPF Xaml Browser Applications (XBAPs)." MS_Backup_Repair - recovers data from corrupt MS QIC and BKF backup files.
XP_Repair_Permissions - Puts permissions for all your XP files back to default.
Windows_Associations_Repair - sets the association of all the file extensions in Windows back to the default.
Windows_Update_Repair - this file will do about 50 different things, all of which could be blocking the proper running of Windows update for you.
